A large two- handed dha shay sword from the historic Burma region. It has a single-edged steel blade with a moderate upcurve to the point. Hilt of bamboo braided in loops of rattan. Sheath in two halves of bamboo joined together by braided rattan loops. One small section is missing at the sheath mouth. Original red cotton baldric cord tied to the upper section. A very good and attractive complete village grade dha shay sword.
