An unusual pesh- kabz from Northern India, possibly the Sindh region, dating to the early 20th century influenced by Central Asian characteristics. At first, it was thought to be Uzbek or Turkmen origin by the stylized form, but later acknowledged to be actually from Northern India.

The blade is single- edged crucible steel with a sharp upcurve near the point. Thick T-spine, steel bolster, and decorated brass ferrule. Dark buffalo horn scale hilt, carved in a bulbous pistol grip form with a brass backstrap decoration holding brass plaques of 12 set turquoise stones. In its original red leather sheath. An attractive pesh- kabz elaborately adorned with brass and turquoise.
