A heavy and massive example of the pesh- kabz dagger between Afghanistan and Northern India. This has a single-edged recurved crucible steel blade with a wide T-shaped spine, steel bolster, and backstrap. Elephant ivory scale grips.
The sheath is red leather with steel mounts in floral design, velvet lining, and a cotton lanyard. It is a contemporary piece and was custom-made by the previous owner for this knife. A robust example.
