Spear of the Mongo or surrounding neighbors. The large steel spearhead of rounded flared base tapering to a point with linear grooves on one half the blade. They are offset on the reverse side. Wooden shaft with groups of iron strips of binding along the entirety of the shaft. At the base, a large octagonal steel butt spike is present. From an old Belgian collection. Ca. 1900.
