A cut- out image of the silent film star, Charlie Chaplin, likely from a poster and placed on background paper. Framed with a decorative wood and exterior glass. The same image was printed on Essanay Film Postcards in 1915 for the promotion of the silent film, "The Tramp," for which this image is now famous for. He became a worldwide icon through his screen persona, The Tramp, and is considered one of the film industry's most important figures. His career spanned more than 75 years, from his childhood in the Victorian Era until a year before his death in 1977, and encompassed both accolade and controversy. A very old piece, most likely from the time period or shortly thereafter.
